NEW YORK, Sept 13 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks opened higher on Monday after upbeat Chinese factory data and a deal on global bank rules that gives lenders more time before they must raise additional capital.
The Dow Jones industrial average was up 77.27 points, or 0.74 percent, at 10,540.04. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index rose 10.26 points, or 0.92 percent, at 1,119.81. The Nasdaq Composite Index gained 22.42 points, or 1.00 percent, at 2,264.90.
