NEW YORK, Dec 14 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks inched higher at the open on Tuesday as stronger-than-expected U.S. retail sales in November offset a weaker outlook from Best Buy Inc.
The Dow Jones industrial average was up 11.96 points, or 0.10 percent, at 11,440.52. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 1.99 points, or 0.16 percent, at 1,242.45. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 5.77 points, or 0.22 percent, at 2,630.68.
