NEW YORK, Oct 14 (Reuters) - U.S. stock indexes opened slightly lower on Thursday as declining bank shares more than offset a boost from lingering weakness in the U.S. dollar.
The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 22.10 points, or 0.20 percent, to 11,073.98. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index fell 4.06 points, or 0.34 percent, to 1,174.04. The Nasdaq Composite Index lost 7.73 points, or 0.32 percent, to 2,433.50.
