NEW YORK, Sept 23 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks fell on Thursday after a weak reading on the labor market dropped stocks through a key technical level, validating the doubts by some about the the recent rally.
* The Dow Jones industrial average fell 76.89 points, or 0.72 percent, to 10,662.42, according to the latest available figures. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index lost 9.43 points, or 0.83 percent, to 1,124.85. The Nasdaq Composite Index eased 7.47 points, or 0.32 percent, to 2,327.08.
