NEW YORK, Nov 3 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks stayed little changed on Wednesday after data showed new orders received by U.S. factories rose more than expected and the services sector grew more quickly than forecast.
Investors seemed focused on a Federal Reserve announcement due in the afternoon, with the central bank expected to inject more liquidity into markets.
The Dow Jones industrial average gained 13.62 points, or 0.12 percent, to 11,202.34. The Standard & Poor's 500 edged up 0.73 point, or 0.06 percent, to 1,194.30. The Nasdaq Composite dipped 0.28 point, or 0.01 percent, to 2,533.24.
