NEW YORK, Nov 29 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks fell at the open on Monday in what could be a choppy session as investors battle between lingering worries about Europe's ability to contain a credit crisis and signs of a U.S. consumer comeback.
* The Dow Jones industrial average fell 81.29 points, or 0.73 percent, to 11,010.71. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index shed 8.33 points, or 0.70 percent, to 1,181.07. The Nasdaq Composite Index gave up 15.42 points, or 0.61 percent, at 2,519.14.
