NEW YORK, Oct 20 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks ended higher on Wednesday as a fall in the dollar spurred broad buying in industrial and commodity-linked shares. The move was reinforced by another day of strong corporate earnings.
Based on the latest available data, the Dow Jones industrial average rose 129.35 points, or 1.18 percent, to end at 11,107.97. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 12.27 points, or 1.05 percent, at 1,178.17. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 20.44 points, or 0.84 percent, at 2,457.39.
