NEW YORK, March 8 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks ended higher on Tuesday after on upbeat profit forecast from Bank of America and a pullback in oil prices. Technicals underscored the market's near-term resilience.
Based on the latest available data, the Dow Jones industrial average was up 124.43 points, or 1.03 percent, at 12,214.46. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 11.69 points, or 0.89 percent, at 1,321.82. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 20.14 points, or 0.73 percent, at 2,765.77.
