NEW YORK, Jan 24 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks opened slightly higher on Monday as corporate results moved investors to try to revive a multi-week rally.
The Dow Jones industrial average slipped 0.46 point, or 0.00 percent, to 11,871.38. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index dipped 0.36 point, or 0.03 percent, to 1,282.99. The Nasdaq Composite Index gained 1.65 points, or 0.06 percent, to 2,691.19.
