NEW YORK, Oct 20 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks rose more than 1 percent on Wednesday on stronger earnings and outlooks from the industrial sector and a weaker U.S. dollar.
The Dow Jones industrial average was up 131.01 points, or 1.19 percent, at 11,109.63. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 13.07 points, or 1.12 percent, at 1,178.97. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 26.33 points, or 1.08 percent, at 2,463.28.
