NEW YORK, Oct 21 (Reuters) - Wall Street turned positive late into a choppy session on Thursday, buoyed by strong earnings, but a firmer U.S. dollar limited gains.
The Dow Jones industrial average rose 32.16 points, or 0.29 percent, to 11,140.13. The Standard & Poor's 500 gained 1.56 points, or 0.13 percent, to 1,179.73. The Nasdaq Composite edged up 1.31 points, or 0.05 percent, to 2,458.70. (Reporting by Rodrigo Campos; Editing by Jan Paschal)
