NEW YORK, Sept 17 (Reuters) - Wall Street opened up on Friday, with the S&P 500 breaking through its June 21 intraday high as solid reports from technology bellwethers Oracle and Research in Motion led gains.
The Dow Jones industrial average was up 46.78 points, or 0.44 percent, at 10,641.61. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index rose 6.23 points, or 0.55 percent, at 1,130.89. The Nasdaq Composite Index jumped 14.92 points, or 0.65 percent, at 2,318.17.
