NEW YORK, Nov 29 (Reuters) - The S&P 500 briefly edged into positive territory on Monday as a late rally in financial and energy shares helped the market to pare losses.
The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 31.83 points, or 0.29 percent, to 11,060.17. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index lost 1.11 points, or 0.09 percent, to 1,188.29. The Nasdaq Composite Index dropped 6.69 points, or 0.26 percent, to 2,527.87.
