NEW YORK, Nov 16 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks extended declines on Tuesday, with the Nasdaq falling about 2 percent as investors dumped resources and technology shares amid continued concerns about China and Ireland.
* The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 206.66 points, or 1.84 percent, to 10,995.31. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index shed 21.75 points, or 1.82 percent, to 1,176.00. The Nasdaq Composite Index lost 48.68 points, or 1.94 percent, to 2,465.14.
