NEW YORK, Oct 4 (Reuters) - The Nasdaq fell 1 percent on Monday, weighed by Microsoft after shares of the software maker were downgraded to "neutral."
The Dow Jones industrial average was down 60.89 points, or 0.56 percent, at 10,768.79. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index dropped 8.58 points, or 0.75 percent, at 1,137.66. The Nasdaq Composite Index declined 29.08 points, or 1.23 percent, at 2,341.67.
