NEW YORK, Nov 23 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks fell more than 1 percent after the open on Tuesday as rising tensions on the Korean peninsula added to worries about global economic conditions.
The Dow Jones industrial average slid 121.62 points, or 1.09 percent, at 11,056.96. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was down 13.69 points, or 1.14 percent, at 1,184.15. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 27.27 points, or 1.08 percent, at 2,504.75.
