NEW YORK, Oct 15 (Reuters) - A blowout quarter from Google sent the Nasdaq up 1 percent on Friday, while uncertainty surrounding major banks' exposure to foreclosure losses dragged the Dow lower.
* The Dow Jones industrial average slipped 31.79 points, or 0.29 percent, to end unofficially at 11,062.78. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index added 2.38 points, or 0.20 percent, to finish unofficially at 1,176.18.
