NEW YORK, Dec 2 (Reuters) - U.S. stock index futures trimmed gains on Thursday after Labor Department data showed initial jobless claims rose more than expected last week.
* S&P 500 futures added 2.6 points and were slightly above fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures was up 18 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures rose 6.5 points.
