WARSAW, Sept 27 (Reuters) - The estate of the late Jan Wejchert, former chairman of Polish broadcaster TVN's owner ITI Holdings, sold 1.1 percent in TVN at 16.8 zlotys per share, system data showed on Monday.
The news confirmed an earlier Reuters report, quoting two independent sources as saying the chunk of 3.84 million shares was placed at a price below 17 zlotys.
The agreed price valued the stake at 64.5 million zlotys ($22 million), compared to its 65.6 million zloty market value after the shares fell on Monday by 1.4 percent to 17.1 zlotys.
One of the sources told Reuters the chunk was offered to both Polish and foreign funds by J.P. Morgan in an accelerated book building. "Lock-up is planned for the sold shares, but it seems there will be no further sales," the sources said on the condition of anonimity.
