* Dai-ichi Life, Yaskawa, Dainippon Screen to join Nikkei 225
* Sanyo Elec, Pana Elec Works, S'tomo Trust to be removed
* Reshuffle to take place on March 29 (Adds details)
TOKYO, March 8 (Reuters) - Dai-ichi Life Insurance, Yaskawa Electric Corp and Dainippon Screen Mfg will be added to the Nikkei 225 in a reshuffle later this month, the publisher of the stock average said.
Nikkei Inc said Sanyo Electric, Panasonic Electric Works and Sumitomo Trust & Banking, which are due to be delisted due to mergers, would be removed in the reshuffle on March 29.
In an article on its website Nikkei said it chose the three stocks for inclusion because they were liquid and belonged to the same sectors as the stocks to be pulled.
H2O Retailing Corp, Chuo Mitsui Trust Holdings and Sundrug Co will be added to the Nikkei Stock Index 300, the Nikkei said, replacing Sanyo Electric, Panasonic Electric Works and Sumitomo Trust. (Reporting by Nathan Layne; Editing by Edwina Gibbs)
