Investing.com – The yield on the U.K. benchmark 10-year bond Wednesday hit a fresh all-time low.
The yield on Gilt fell to a low of 0.525%. It was down 7.8% at 0.538% at 06:30 ET.
The BoE failed to meet its bond buying target at Tuesday's tender as part of renewed QE program.
BoE said the bonds it failed to buy will be bought later in the year.
BoE cut its bank rate to historic 0.25% last week. To buy £60 bn in Gilts under easing.
Sterling regains $1.3 mark; up 0.4% at $1.3058.
