Investing.com - Social media site Twitter was lower in midday trade on Thursday after an analyst at MoffettNathanson said it’s time to sell the stock.
Michael Nathanson reiterate his bearish call, saying that the company wasn’t dealing with cybersecurity issues, MarketWatch reported.
"As we look into the second half of 2019, now seems to be an especially opportune time to sell Twitter," he wrote.
He cited the fact that Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) has seven times more employees working in safety and security as evidence that Twitter is not doing enough to secure the social media platform.
Twitter (NYSE:TWTR) was down 3.6% , while Facebook rose 0.9% and Snap (NYSE:SNAP) rose 0.5%.
