TAIPEI, March 10 (Reuters) - TSMC <2330.TW>, the world's biggest contract chipmaker, said on Thursday that sales in February rose 8.8 percent from a year earlier.

Consolidated sales totalled T$32.69 billion, up 8.5 percent a year earlier. The company did not give further details.
