STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Swedish truck maker AB Volvo (OTC:VLVLY) plans to slow down the pace of production at its Tuve plant in Gothenburg and cut 250 jobs at the facility, local daily Goteborgs-Posten reported on Tuesday, citing a company spokesperson.
The cuts at the factory, which produces heavy duty trucks, affect consultants and staff with temporary employment, it said.
AB Volvo did not immediately respond to a request for comment when contacted by Reuters. (This story has been corrected to remove a wrong picture)
