Investing.com - T-Mobile US (NASDAQ:TMUS) reported Wednesday mixed fourth-quarter results as earnings beat, but revenue missed Wall Street estimates.
T-Mobile US shares gained 8.60% in after-hours trade following the report.
T-Mobile US announced earnings per share of $0.34 on revenue of $20.79B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $0.1277 on revenue of $21.03B.
Postpaid net account additions during the quarter were 315,000, taking the total to 1.2 million for the full-year 2021, more than doubled year-over-year.
Postpaid net customer additions were 1.8 million in Q4, and 5.5 million for hte full-year 2021, exceeding guidance, the company said.
Looking ahead, the company forecast postpaid net customer additions are expected to be between 5-to-5.5 million.
Free cash flow, including payments for merger-related costs, is expected to be between $7.1 billion and $7.6 billion, up more than 30% year-over-year at the mid-point.
