Investing.com - Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO Elon Musk said it was time to "break up" Amazon after the e-commerce giant refused to sell former New York Times (NYSE:NYT) reporter Alex Berenson's book on the coronavirus pandemic.
Berenson's book, "Unreported Truths about Covid-19 and Lockdowns: Part 1: Introduction and Death Counts and Estimates," which questions the overarching coronavirus narrative, failed to comply with its guidelines, Amazon said.
In a tweet calling for the break up of Amazon, Musk said monopolies are "wrong."
Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) was largely flat on the day. Tesla fell 1.3%.
