Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 2.26% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which rose 0.67% or 0.30 points to trade at 43.60 at the close. Meanwhile, SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) fell 0.37% or 0.90 points to end at 230.90 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was down 0.50% or 0.70 points to 138.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which fell 5.42% or 1.42 points to trade at 24.80 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) declined 4.94% or 4.10 points to end at 79.70 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was down 4.38% or 4.90 points to 107.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 811 to 54 and 35 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.37% or 0.27 to $73.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.25% or 0.19 to hit $76.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.21% or 29.80 to trade at $2,440.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.49% to 11.57, while USD/SEK rose 0.07% to 10.56.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 102.56.
