Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 2.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN), which rose 2.27% or 12.3 points to trade at 554.3 at the close. Meanwhile, H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 0.20% or 0.3 points to end at 140.2 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was down 0.30% or 0.8 points to 263.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 5.54% or 0.62 points to trade at 10.63 at the close. ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) declined 5.13% or 10.8 points to end at 199.7 and Investor AB ser. B (ST:INVEb) was down 3.48% or 12.9 points to 358.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 442 to 189 and 35 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 5.54% or 0.62 to 10.63.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.51% or 0.93 to $60.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.25% or 0.82 to hit $64.69 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.50 to trade at $1319.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.34% to 9.9483, while USD/SEK rose 0.53% to 8.1285.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 90.26.
