Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.85%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 1.54% or 18.0 points to trade at 1188.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) added 0.82% or 2.9 points to end at 356.0 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was up 0.23% or 0.09 points to 38.99 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb), which fell 3.86% or 6.02 points to trade at 149.93 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 3.60% or 5.45 points to end at 145.80 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was down 3.01% or 0.30 points to 9.69.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 483 to 134 and 45 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.21% or 0.13 to $61.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.44% or 0.28 to hit $64.11 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.17% or 15.30 to trade at $1320.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.47% to 10.1699, while USD/SEK rose 0.03% to 8.2568.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 89.97.
