Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.52%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 1.51% or 0.09 points to trade at 5.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 1.45% or 2.70 points to end at 185.80 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 1.38% or 3.80 points to 279.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which fell 5.69% or 2.90 points to trade at 48.20 at the close. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) declined 4.26% or 9.50 points to end at 213.30 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was down 3.41% or 3.50 points to 97.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 520 to 236 and 79 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.32% or 0.25 to $78.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.25% or 0.21 to hit $82.39 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.74% or 41.00 to trade at $2,313.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.61% to 11.27, while USD/SEK rose 1.10% to 10.48.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 104.70.
