Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.44%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa), which rose 0.53% or 0.6 points to trade at 114.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) fell 0.14% or 0.5 points to end at 353.1 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was down 0.47% or 0.44 points to 94.12 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which fell 2.71% or 7.4 points to trade at 266.1 at the close. Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) declined 2.70% or 9.6 points to end at 345.5 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was down 2.66% or 0.27 points to 9.99.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 484 to 135 and 50 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.99% or 0.61 to $61.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.16% or 0.75 to hit $63.98 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.55% or 7.20 to trade at $1310.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.13% to 10.0967, while USD/SEK fell 0.29% to 8.2681.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 90.59.
