Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.38%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which rose 0.36% or 1.7 points to trade at 473.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) fell 0.03% or 0.02 points to end at 76.29 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was down 0.03% or 0.2 points to 731.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 7.21% or 19.50 points to trade at 251.00 at the close. ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) declined 4.12% or 8.1 points to end at 187.2 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was down 4.00% or 20.4 points to 490.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 483 to 173 and 43 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.65% or 0.40 to $62.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.56% or 0.40 to hit $71.25 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.85 to trade at $1283.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.21% to 10.7066, while USD/SEK rose 0.16% to 9.5547.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 97.255.
