Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.38% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which rose 6.64% or 9.60 points to trade at 154.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) added 0.95% or 6.8 points to end at 726.2 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was up 0.36% or 0.50 points to 137.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 4.71% or 1.74 points to trade at 35.22 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 4.39% or 7.9 points to end at 172.2 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was down 2.66% or 1.08 points to 39.56.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 412 to 239 and 41 ended unchanged.
Shares in SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.71% or 1.74 to 35.22. Shares in Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) fell to 3-years lows; down 4.39% or 7.9 to 172.2.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.50% or 0.34 to $67.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.73% or 0.56 to hit $77.45 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.85% or 10.50 to trade at $1239.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.29% to 10.3954, while USD/SEK rose 0.09% to 9.1204.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 96.18.
