Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.34%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 1.13% or 1.25 points to trade at 111.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) added 0.81% or 1.15 points to end at 143.95 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 43.48 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which fell 8.53% or 13.3 points to trade at 142.8 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) declined 4.11% or 9.1 points to end at 212.5 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was down 3.31% or 6.5 points to 190.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 466 to 173 and 47 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.11% or 9.1 to 212.5.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.65% or 0.85 to $50.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.66% or 0.40 to hit $59.88 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 5.90 to trade at $1247.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.13% to 10.2569, while USD/SEK fell 0.19% to 9.0441.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 96.632.
