Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which rose 0.43% or 0.14 points to trade at 32.76 at the close. Meanwhile, Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) added 0.35% or 0.02 points to end at 6.24 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) was up 0.34% or 0.30 points to 95.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which fell 3.47% or 6.60 points to trade at 183.40 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 3.37% or 7.10 points to end at 203.80 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was down 3.16% or 2.50 points to 75.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 463 to 305 and 80 ended unchanged.
Shares in Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) rose to 52-week highs; up 0.43% or 0.14 to 32.76. Shares in Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) fell to 5-year lows; down 3.16% or 2.50 to 75.40.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.87% or 0.61 to $69.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.76% or 0.56 to hit $73.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 2.75 to trade at $2,525.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.14% to 11.39, while USD/SEK fell 0.12% to 10.28.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 101.33.
