Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.29% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb), which rose 2.14% or 4.70 points to trade at 224.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) added 0.68% or 0.35 points to end at 51.91 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was down 0.30% or 0.8 points to 262.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which fell 3.42% or 9.6 points to trade at 271.2 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 2.67% or 14.8 points to end at 539.5 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was down 2.35% or 4.7 points to 195.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 436 to 180 and 43 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 3.24% or 1.98 to $59.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 3.04% or 1.97 to hit $62.84 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.00 to trade at $1321.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.28% to 9.9152, while USD/SEK fell 0.06% to 8.1127.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 90.36.
