Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Basic Materials and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.27%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN), which rose 0.84% or 14.00 points to trade at 1,676.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 0.14% or 0.30 points to end at 180.60 and Evolution Gaming Group AB (ST:EVOG) was up 0.14% or 1.50 points to 1,107.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which fell 7.98% or 0.49 points to trade at 5.61 at the close. Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) declined 5.94% or 5.50 points to end at 87.50 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was down 4.80% or 4.50 points to 88.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 477 to 278 and 86 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) fell to 3-years lows; falling 4.80% or 4.50 to 88.40.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.51% or 0.42 to $81.21 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.60% or 0.51 to hit $84.64 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 8.25 to trade at $2,336.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.12% to 11.25, while USD/SEK rose 0.37% to 10.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.21% at 105.35.
