Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.27% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which rose 1.64% or 5.9 points to trade at 364.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 0.30% or 0.3 points to end at 86.8 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was up 0.23% or 0.2 points to 69.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which fell 6.67% or 48.2 points to trade at 674.4 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 2.61% or 3.30 points to end at 123.05 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) was down 2.50% or 4.9 points to 191.1.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 489 to 152 and 39 ended unchanged.
Shares in Autoliv Inc. SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) fell to 3-years lows; down 6.67% or 48.2 to 674.4. Shares in Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.61% or 3.30 to 123.05.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.94% or 1.02 to $51.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.30% or 0.80 to hit $60.87 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.65 to trade at $1250.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.28% to 10.3239, while USD/SEK rose 0.33% to 9.0779.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 97.032.
