Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which fell 0.05% or 0.02 points to trade at 37.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) fell 0.19% or 0.40 points to end at 212.40 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was down 0.19% or 0.20 points to 105.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which fell 4.04% or 2.13 points to trade at 50.62 at the close. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) declined 2.35% or 4.4 points to end at 182.9 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) was down 2.34% or 4.9 points to 204.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 570 to 192 and 59 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.69% or 0.39 to $57.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.69% or 0.44 to hit $63.93 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 1.97 to trade at $1285.67 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.33% to 9.7497, while USD/SEK fell 0.09% to 8.3731.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 94.44.
