Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.18%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which rose 2.02% or 1.7 points to trade at 87.0 at the close. Meanwhile, AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 1.21% or 6.7 points to end at 562.6 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) was up 0.82% or 0.80 points to 98.54 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA), which fell 8.32% or 8.08 points to trade at 89.06 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 1.97% or 0.20 points to end at 9.79 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was down 1.74% or 3.2 points to 181.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 373 to 221 and 66 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) fell to 52-week lows; losing 8.32% or 8.08 to 89.06.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.73% or 1.06 to $62.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.44% or 0.94 to hit $66.06 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 4.80 to trade at $1313.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.04% to 10.0605, while USD/SEK rose 0.10% to 8.1873.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 90.21.
