Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Basic Materials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.17% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb), which rose 4.95% or 4.30 points to trade at 91.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Evolution Gaming Group AB (ST:EVOG) added 0.72% or 8.00 points to end at 1,118.00 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 0.26% or 0.90 points to 349.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which fell 3.87% or 1.80 points to trade at 44.70 at the close. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) declined 3.76% or 0.23 points to end at 5.96 and Sinch AB (ST:SINCH) was down 3.23% or 0.79 points to 23.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 435 to 353 and 74 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.19% or 0.98 to $81.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.27% or 1.09 to hit $84.66 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 6.00 to trade at $2,369.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.35% to 11.41, while USD/SEK fell 0.27% to 10.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 104.83.
