Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.13%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 1.73% or 0.11 points to trade at 6.46 at the close. Meanwhile, Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) added 0.44% or 1.40 points to end at 319.80 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 0.38% or 6.50 points to 1,706.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE), which fell 2.22% or 2.70 points to trade at 118.90 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) declined 2.17% or 1.00 points to end at 46.50 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was down 2.11% or 1.60 points to 74.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 484 to 273 and 86 ended unchanged.
Shares in Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) rose to 3-years highs; up 0.44% or 1.40 to 319.80. Shares in Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) fell to 5-year lows; losing 2.11% or 1.60 to 74.30.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.18% or 1.51 to $67.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.17% or 1.58 to hit $71.11 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 14.35 to trade at $2,528.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.21% to 11.40, while USD/SEK rose 0.48% to 10.29.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 101.20.
