Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.13% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 2.03% or 15.4 points to trade at 772.4 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 1.22% or 1.30 points to end at 107.60 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was up 0.73% or 1.2 points to 160.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which fell 3.16% or 5.6 points to trade at 171.5 at the close. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) declined 3.03% or 2.4 points to end at 75.6 and Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) was down 2.59% or 5.5 points to 205.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 416 to 209 and 56 ended unchanged.
Shares in Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.03% or 2.4 to 75.6. Shares in Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.59% or 5.5 to 205.2.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.04% or 0.02 to $56.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.87% or 0.58 to hit $66.18 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.00 to trade at $1222.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.23% to 10.3027, while USD/SEK rose 0.03% to 9.0041.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 96.15.
