Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.13% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa), which rose 1.90% or 3.6 points to trade at 196.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) added 1.12% or 5.0 points to end at 450.1 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was up 0.88% or 6.4 points to 732.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which fell 4.96% or 4.4 points to trade at 84.0 at the close. Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) declined 3.97% or 18.2 points to end at 440.0 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) was down 3.79% or 8.5 points to 215.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 566 to 86 and 39 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 4.42% or 3.06 to $66.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 4.48% or 3.58 to hit $76.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.23% or 15.00 to trade at $1236.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.48% to 10.3735, while USD/SEK rose 0.34% to 9.0340.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 95.61.
