Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.12%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 1.72% or 1.56 points to trade at 92.26 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 0.63% or 0.80 points to end at 128.75 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) was up 0.31% or 0.50 points to 161.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which fell 3.05% or 20.4 points to trade at 649.4 at the close. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) declined 2.93% or 2.3 points to end at 76.1 and H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) was down 2.86% or 4.6 points to 155.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 419 to 228 and 54 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.13% or 0.08 to $63.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.53% or 0.38 to hit $71.83 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.15 to trade at $1276.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.36% to 10.7948, while USD/SEK rose 0.25% to 9.6654.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 97.773.
