Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.11% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 1.66% or 3.20 points to trade at 195.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) added 0.94% or 10.0 points to end at 1072.0 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) was up 0.73% or 2.3 points to 318.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa), which fell 3.06% or 3.5 points to trade at 110.9 at the close. Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) declined 2.56% or 4.70 points to end at 178.90 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) was down 2.24% or 3.30 points to 143.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 356 to 247 and 68 ended unchanged.
Shares in Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.06% or 3.5 to 110.9. Shares in Autoliv Inc. SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 0.94% or 10.0 to 1072.0.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.95% or 1.12 to $58.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.98% or 1.24 to hit $63.87 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.66% or 8.40 to trade at $1281.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.16% to 9.9548, while USD/SEK fell 0.22% to 8.3590.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 92.75.
