Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.05%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which rose 11.78% or 2.78 points to trade at 26.38 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) added 2.26% or 2.00 points to end at 92.40 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 1.99% or 5.90 points to 301.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which fell 8.82% or 30.20 points to trade at 312.30 at the close. Evolution Gaming Group AB (ST:EVOG) declined 8.26% or 96.00 points to end at 1,066.50 and SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb) was down 6.41% or 17.20 points to 250.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 498 to 275 and 79 ended unchanged.
Shares in Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.99% or 5.90 to 301.80.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.83% or 1.49 to $79.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.50% or 1.28 to hit $83.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.07% or 50.80 to trade at $2,405.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.73% to 11.63, while USD/SEK rose 1.00% to 10.68.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 104.03.
