Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.05%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa), which rose 3.07% or 2.90 points to trade at 97.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) added 2.48% or 1.74 points to end at 72.03 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was up 1.84% or 2.6 points to 146.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb), which fell 10.92% or 56.5 points to trade at 460.9 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 3.97% or 6.80 points to end at 164.50 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) was down 3.90% or 6.5 points to 161.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 380 to 251 and 64 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.23% or 0.13 to $57.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.53% or 0.97 to hit $64.27 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.45% or 20.65 to trade at $1400.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.68% to 10.5886, while USD/SEK rose 1.27% to 9.4385.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.60% at 96.912.
