Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.04% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 0.58% or 0.60 points to trade at 104.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) added 0.54% or 0.22 points to end at 41.10 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was up 0.19% or 0.16 points to 85.06 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa), which fell 3.81% or 9.7 points to trade at 243.7 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) declined 3.43% or 7.8 points to end at 217.9 and Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) was down 3.40% or 17.0 points to 482.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 404 to 207 and 62 ended unchanged.
Shares in Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.81% or 9.7 to 243.7. Shares in Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.43% or 7.8 to 217.9.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.07% or 0.05 to $74.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.31% or 0.24 to hit $78.00 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 3.80 to trade at $1257.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.68% to 10.2325, while USD/SEK fell 0.54% to 8.7904.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 94.37.
