Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 1.02% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sandvik AB (ST:SAND), which rose 0.16% or 0.20 points to trade at 126.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) fell 0.14% or 0.2 points to end at 141.8 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was down 0.29% or 0.30 points to 103.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 5.36% or 2.04 points to trade at 36.05 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 2.88% or 1.17 points to end at 39.42 and Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) was down 2.29% or 4.30 points to 183.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 600 to 133 and 61 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.58% or 0.28 to $48.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.56% or 0.29 to hit $51.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.24% or 3.04 to trade at $1293.14 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.38% to 9.6140, while USD/SEK rose 0.05% to 8.1395.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 93.06.
